COVID-19 Update

Welcome Back!

To Our Wonderful Patients and Their Families,

We have missed your children and their smiling faces! We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health during these difficult times. We recognize the unprecedented impact COVID-19 has had on children’s lives. We empathize with the changes and uncertainty they have faced – whether it be the day-to-day activities often taken for granted, like a trip to the park, or a high five from a friend or teacher at school, or a milestone, like prom or graduation. Like your family, our team has faced many challenges during the “shelter in place” period, and we are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines.

While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your child’s dental health, safety, and overall well-being. We are reopening in stages. In the initial phase, we will need to focus on those patients with emergent and urgent dental needs, such as those with existing treatment postponed or cancelled due to the crisis. During the first phase, it will also be necessary on a daily basis to see a reduced volume of patients to comply with guidelines on social distancing and infection control from state and national agencies. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this process and encourage you to reach out if you have any questions or concerns so we may do our best to accommodate you.

Our office will continue to adhere to state and national regulatory agencies’ up-to-date guidance on infection control. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about steps we have taken to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. Feel free to reach us by phone, 309-663-7339.

Thank you all so much for your continued support of our practice. We value your trust and strive to continue delivering the very best care that you have grown accustomed to over the last 30 years. We look forward to seeing you, your family soon, and friends soon.

Sincerely,

Drs. Tom Hall and Sara Rauen

And the entire team at Pediatric Smiles of Bloomington

Welcome to the pediatric dental office of Thomas D. Hall, D.M.D. and Sara Rauen Dardis, D.D.S., M.S. providing specialized dentistry for children and adolescents in a "child-friendly" environment. As pediatric dentists, our mission is to focus on preventative care to give your child a happy, healthy smile that will last a lifetime. We work in partnership with our patients, their families and the health care community to provide the best treatment, while creating positive dental experiences that will set the stage for long term oral health. As the pediatricians of dentistry, Dr. Hall and Dr. Rauen Dardis provide primary care for infants and children through high school, including those with special needs. Referral to our office is not necessary; however, we do serve as a referral source for specialty care. The vast majority of our patients are recommended to our office by parents of existing patients. We bring over 40 years of combined experience to the art of pediatric dentistry - serving infants, children and teens in Bloomington, IL. and other communities throughout Central IL.
